CPU

Works out of the box.

Follow this SpeedStep guide to enable speed-stepping.

Video

Works with the ATI Catalyst proprietary driver.

Console framebuffer is working in 1024x768 with the vga=0x317 kernel boot option. With the vesafb-tng patch the native display resolution should work, too.

Audio

Works out of the box.

Follow the official documentation: ALSA

Wi-Fi

To enable wireless follow the official guide: Wireless network configuration#ndiswrapper

Please note that the Asus F5R needs the bcmwl5.inf driver.

Other way is to use b43 driver: Broadcom wireless

Reason: The linked package does not exist in the AUR. (Discuss in Talk:ASUS F5R)

Since there is no official support for the Asus Webcam, you need to install separate drivers from the AUR: stk11xx-svnAUR.
